Q: How much are the classes?

Q: It’s the night before the class begins and I haven’t signed up, can I still go?
A: Yes! Feel free to come to the class as there are usually a few spots available. Contact our training director at 757-705-7784 for more information about last-minute sign ups.
Q: I work for Top Guard Security, can I get a payroll deduction?
A: Yes! Check out the forms tab or fill out a form here.
Q: Are breaks offered during the classes?
A: Yes! Classes will be available during the day for long classes. Free coffee and ice water will be offered.
Q: I work for X security company. Am I allowed to use CVTA for my training needs?
A: Yes! Everyone is welcome, however RSVP’ing is strongly recommended.
Q: I need to take X class but do not see it coming up on the schedule.
A: Contact Gunny Thomas, Training Director, at 757-705-7784 for more information about classes and scheduling. “Custom” classes are updated as needs of officers arise.
